The Great Kids' Charity Race

Races

Sprints

This category focuses on speed and quick bursts of energy. The 50-meter dash is a classic sprint designed for younger kids, providing a great opportunity to test their raw speed. The 100-meter dash is a standard sprint distance for older kids, requiring not only speed but also strategy and endurance to maintain momentum. Relay races (4x50m, 4x100m) add a team element to the sprints, promoting teamwork and excitement as participants work together to pass batons or other fun objects

Middle Distance

These races challenge participants with longer distances that require a balance of speed and endurance. The 400-meter run is a challenging yet achievable distance for older kids, testing their ability to pace themselves and maintain a consistent effort. The 800-meter run is a more demanding race designed for older, more experienced runners, requiring significant endurance and strategic pacing

Fun & Novelty Races

These races are all about fun and participation, adding a lighthearted element to the event. The sack race involves kids hopping in sacks towards the finish line, providing great laughs and improving coordination. The three-legged race requires teams of two to run with one leg tied together, emphasizing teamwork and communication. The egg-and-spoon race tests balance and focus as participants carefully balance an egg on a spoon while running.
